In 2013, two students in London asked: what if packaging could work more like nature?
Their answer was Ooho — an edible seaweed capsule for liquids. The experiment grew into Notpla, which develops packaging from seaweed and plants.
The interesting part isn’t only the material. It’s the decision to question the assumption behind the product.
A package may be used for minutes, while its material remains for decades. Notpla turned that contradiction into a design challenge: what if packaging could do its job and then return to nature?
That is the kind of thinking IMAGINARI explores: seeing familiar problems differently and turning imagination into practical ideas.
Sometimes innovation starts by changing the question.
