How do you adapt digital safety education to different learners?
On Thursday, 29 October, we joined teachers and partners for the CARE Online Training for Teachers, part of the TELMS-based Digital Mentoring Programme.
Participants adapted CARE learning scenarios to different ages, language levels and contexts, exploring phishing, privacy and online safety. Discussions covered how games may share children’s personal data, how to balance online protection with privacy, and how these activities could also work with adults aged 65+.
The key takeaway? Learning resources are a starting point. Their real value comes from adapting them to the people who use them.
