LEGO® Serious Play® Methodology Certification

At MVidee, we believe in creative methods that unlock dialogue and empower people to
think differently. That’s why our team members, Maya and Betty,
embarked on the journey to become certified LEGO® Serious Play® facilitators.

LEGO® Serious Play® Methodology uses LEGO bricks to help participants build models
that represent their ideas, challenges, and visions. By turning abstract thoughts into tangible
creations, it encourages creativity, equal participation, and deeper dialogue in groups of all sizes.

Over four days of intensive training, they transitioned from participants to facilitators, mastering skills such as:

• Guiding shared model building – helping groups represent collective visions in 3D.
• Designing sessions with purpose – tailoring workshops to specific community needs.
• Learning from case studies – exploring how LEGO® Serious Play® has been used worldwide in education, inclusion, and organizational development.
• Facilitating practice workshops – gaining hands-on experience and feedback to refine their role as facilitators.

The training concluded with a celebration of their certification, equipping them to bring this dynamic
methodology into MVidee’s community programs, youth engagement, and inclusive workshops.

For us, LEGO® Serious Play® is more than a tool – it’s a way to inspire creativity, collaboration,
and meaningful conversation. We look forward to integrating it into our upcoming projects and using it
as a tool for change.
