Art can start conversations that statistics and headlines often cannot.
For the UNITY Gallery Exhibition against hate speech in Suceava (Romania), we invite young people aged 14–19 to submit artworks exploring identity, inclusion, empathy, diversity, and resistance to hate speech.
For inspiration, we selected three powerful projects showing how art can challenge stereotypes and make people feel seen:
• Tolerance — Jaume Plensa
• Inside Out Project — JR
• The British Library — Yinka Shonibare
Each approaches coexistence, visibility, and identity differently — reminding us that art can become a powerful social statement.
