Some of the most unsettling stories are not about dramatic acts, but about what slowly takes shape in silence — small gestures, unspoken rules, moments where harm becomes normal before anyone names it.
This is where the UNITY project begins its work. Rather than reacting once harm is visible, UNITY focuses on prevention: supporting young people to recognise early dynamics of exclusion and build the confidence to engage with difference constructively.
*As shown in films like The White Ribbon, the most lasting harm often begins not with violence but with silence.
