We’ve officially launched project UNITY – Uniting Youth Power Against Intolerance, a brand new EU-funded project committed to standing up against hate speech, discrimination, and division — with young people leading the way. 💪
The project officially kicked off on 1 June 2025, and recently, our amazing team of partners from across Europe met online to get things moving!
In a time where hate speech and hate crimes are rising across Europe — especially targeting youth, migrants, ethnic minorities, LGBTIQ+ people, and even civil society itself — UNITY is here to say: enough.
Over the next two years, we’ll work together to educate, empower, and advocate. That means:
👉 Creating tools for teachers and youth workers
👉 Supporting victims of hate
👉 Training professionals to respond to hate incidents
👉 Bringing civil society together in coalitions
👉 And launching bold public campaigns across six countries
UNITY is about action, empathy, and the belief that diversity makes us stronger.
