Yesterday, we hosted the second webinar of the Beyond the Screen project.
Together with educators and trainers from across Europe, we explored a question many online educators face: How can visual storytelling help us stay motivated and engaged?
We discussed common challenges such as low learner engagement, screen fatigue, motivation loss, and technical difficulties. Participants also explored how vidcasts and comic strips can make learning experiences more relatable, memorable, and human.
One unexpected moment perfectly reflected the topic itself: a technical issue prevented a planned breakout activity from taking place. Instead of stopping the discussion, participants adapted, shared experiences, and continued working together.
A reminder that while technology matters, meaningful learning is ultimately about people.
