Oveview

IMAGINARI empowers artists and entrepreneurs across Europe to imagine and build sustainable futures by combining creativity, wellbeing, and regenerative business thinking. The project creates a shared learning journey where cultural professionals and value-driven founders collaborate, exchange methods, and develop practical tools that strengthen both creative practice and economic resilience. Through online training, in-person co-creation labs, and public dissemination, IMAGINARI nurtures imagination as a strategic skill for social, cultural, and entrepreneurial transformation.

The project is just beginning, with partners currently aligning objectives, defining research approaches, and preparing the first outputs.

Objectives

  • Strengthen the capacity of artists and creative professionals to develop sustainable, value-aligned careers.
  • Equip entrepreneurs with creative, narrative, and futures-oriented methodologies for long-term innovation.
  • Foster cross-sector collaboration between culture and enterprise through inclusive learning environments.
  • IIntegrate wellbeing, sustainability, and ethical value creation into professional practice.
  • Build a transnational European network that supports imagination-driven innovation and knowledge exchange.

Activities

During the project, partners will:

  • Conduct research and participatory mapping to identify shared needs and opportunities across sectors.
  • Deliver an online Imaginative Learning Journey for artists and entrepreneurs focused on futures literacy, storytelling, and regenerative business models.
  • Organise an international Co-Creation Lab where participants experiment with theatre, speculative design, and collaborative innovation.
  • Host a Collective Futures Festival to showcase results, engage stakeholders, and stimulate dialogue with wider audiences.
  • Develop an open-access digital hub and toolkit to ensure long-term visibility, replication, and community building.

Impact & Outcomes

  • Increased entrepreneurial confidence and financial sustainability among artists.
  • Greater creative and strategic capacity among entrepreneurs to design purpose-driven businesses.
  • New cross-sector partnerships and collaborative models between cultural and economic actors.
  • Improved awareness of wellbeing, care, and regenerative thinking as drivers of innovation.
  • A lasting European ecosystem and resource platform that continues to connect, inspire, and support future-oriented cultural and business practices.
