Oveview

ECOSOCIAL VOICES empowers young people with fewer opportunities to become active contributors to the ecosocial transition by combining civic engagement, sustainability, and skills development.

The project introduces innovative civic monitoring practices that enable young people to identify, analyse, and respond to local environmental and social challenges. Through a combination of capacity building, digital learning, and hands-on community action, participants develop the competences needed to influence decision-making processes and promote more sustainable and inclusive societies.

By bridging the gap between awareness and action, ECOSOCIAL VOICES supports young people in becoming informed, confident, and impactful agents of change within their communities and beyond.

Objectives

  • Equip youth workers with innovative civic monitoring methodologies and tools
  • Develop young people’s intrapreneurial skills, including problem-solving, communication, and social innovation
  • Empower young people with fewer opportunities to actively engage in ecosocial challenges
  • Promote active citizenship, participation, and dialogue with decision-makers
  • Support sustainable and socially responsible behaviours among young people

Activities

  • Development of a hands-on civic monitoring methodology guide for youth work
  • EU-level capacity-building bootcamp for youth worker ambassadors
  • Creation of a microlearning programme on intrapreneurship and ecosocial skills
  • Implementation of local civic monitoring cycles led by young people
  • Organisation of local events and stakeholder dialogues across partner countries
  • Development of an online platform to share results and resources

Impact & Outcomes

  • Empowerment of 100 young people with fewer opportunities as active ecosocial change-makers
  • Strengthened capacity of youth workers to support civic engagement and sustainability actions
  • Increased youth participation in local decision-making processes
  • Creation of policy recommendations based on youth-led insights
  • Development of accessible, scalable tools including the civic monitoring guide and digital learning programme
