We officially kicked off our learning mobility in the Netherlands yesterday, with a deep dive into how modern vocational training is structured and aligned with real labour-market needs. 🎯
Day 1 focused on two key topics:
1️⃣ Overview of the Dutch education system – how vocational pathways are organized, how students progress between levels, and how schools work closely with companies to ensure learning translates into employment.
2️⃣ Micro-credentials and modular learning – how short, flexible certifications recognize specific skills and support lifelong learning, making it easier for learners to enter or re-enter the labour market quickly.
The discussions were dynamic and practical, we compared systems, shared challenges, and explored what we can incorporate into our own work.✔
What stood out most:
➡️ Flexibility + real-world applicability = strong employability
➡️ Modern vocational training is where potential meets opportunity.
